 Memorial Day Campaign

The ask:
Engage and inspire a distracted and overscheduled generation to take a moment of silence and remember those who have fallen in defense of our freedom. Our solution is #PoppyInMemory.  Based on the insight that the poppy is a symbol of remembrance of a soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice – we developed a digitally integrated campaign designed to educate and inspire our audience.

The Creative: Designed to replicate a physical poppy wall with thousands of virtual poppy flowers. Users are able to explore the wall in any direction and click on any poppy they choose. Poppies with a “dedicated” tag have been hand selected by a visitor and dedicated in memory of a fallen soldier whom they knew. All other poppies can be dedicated and shared across the user’s social channels. A landing page was also created for Memorial Day.

Client: Children’s Hospital Colorado

The ask: Our assignment is to create an interactive print ad for 5280 magazine’s Top Doc issues that highlight CHCO’s expertise while aligning with the “Here, it’s different” campaign. We will use this interactive print ad to show, not tell, just how different CHCO is.

Insight: Visually communicate how Children’s Hospital Colorado is different with a child’s colorful band-aid against a page of plain ones. Drive home the message that CHCO only has child patients. Headline verbally communicates what makes CHCO different than other hospitals in the state. To make interactive, bandages could open to reveal facts about CHCO.
